I hate to see a train leave the station or a plane leave the gate when I’m NOT on it. I like to go wherever and whenever I can, to explore new places, see new faces and discover different ways of life.
People ask me if it's hard to be on the road 247 days a year. I think it's harder to be home. On the road, someone makes my bed and washes my towels. There's no trash to empty, toilets to clean or weeds to pluck. I’ve always enjoyed driving and I truly love flying – seriously: I mean, moving 500 miles per hour, while reading and watching movies, where the phone can’t ring, and someone brings me food and drink at the tap of a button and the swipe of a credit card . . . what’s not to like?
The woman I married loves to go as much as I do. And since we have no kids, no pets and only tiny debts there’s nothing holding us back. Of course it certainly helps to work in destination marketing for a company whose vacation policy is "No Vacation Policy” - just get the work done or get someone to cover you."
And so, we Just Go!
